Well Last Thursday, our Sister school, Kokutaiji High School from Hiroshima, came to visit Moanalua High School.
Every year, the kids taking japanese get to interact with these kids and since im in 4th year japanese i got to take them on a tour of the campus and explain things to them. (in japanese haha) but of course they can speak some english. here are some pictures below from that day.

Opening Ceremony in Gym. They sang a nice song to us. (well 1/4 of them) and the only thing i could understand was "tsuabsa" which was repeated like.. 9 times in the song. hahaha
Then after we gave them a tour, we got to speak to them and thats when i took out this picture above to show them and say. "tackey and tsubasaga daisuki desu!!" ahaha

And all of the girls were like "AH! Takitsuba!" "ano! Takki-Tsubasa!" "Hideaki Takizawa!!" hahaha so funny man. And come to find out, my other friends in the other tour group got asked "what japanese music do you listen to?" but they dont listen to any but i always talk about T&T so they told them and the girls were like "Takki tsubasa!" and the boys that where around them where like they are on my ipod!! HAHAHA but i ended up taking this picture with the closest 2 people that were by me. HAHA i felt accomplished after that.

After we ate lunch with them they went down to our football field to perform their class performance. (or whatever it is called.. lol) that they do every year for us. its really neat! Once they perform it, we get to go down and Attempt to do it with them. All of us are like running around like chickens with no heads and they are smiling at us trying to guide us. hahaha
but the cool thing is that we get to keep their orange jacket and the 2 noise making clickers of the japanese person we approach while going onto the field. =)
